Recreational/In-House Soccer

The primary objective of the Recreational/In-House program is to enable players to learn the game of soccer in a fun and stimulating environment. This level of soccer is implemented as a member program

FC814 is designed for girls and boys ages 4 to 13 and emphasizes fun while learning the game of soccer and the meaning of sportsmanship. FC814 Soccer annually serves over 400 children in Blair County and is an all volunteer organization with parents coaching and sponsoring the various teams. Our mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, fair, safe, family environment. We offer soccer teams for boys and girls ages 4 to 13.

Our in-house program is based out of Urban Air Soccer Complex (formerly Hoss's Fields) in Hollidaysburg. Practices are Tuesday evenings (with Wednesdays for spillover time when there are more teams than fields). Games are Saturday mornings between 9:00 and noon.

Scores are not officially, kept nor are standings maintained in in-house.

Each player who registers receives a uniform t-shirt as part of their registration.

The cost is $75 for an individual season, either Spring or Fall on its own, or you can sign your player up for both fall and spring for $125.

All in-house divisions are co-ed. The age divisions are:

Under 5 - 3 field players on the field at a time, no goalkeepers
Under 6 - same as U5
Under 8 - 5 field players, no goalkeepers
Under 10 - 6 field players plus a goalkeeper (7 v 7)
Under 14 - 8 field players plus a goalkeeper (9 v 9)

Age groups are determined by the player's age on January 1 of the year in which the play cycle begins. Play runs on a fall-to-spring cycle.

For the cycle running fall 2022-spring 2023, for example, a player born on July 4, 2013 would play in the Under 10 age group since they were equal to or over 8 but under 10 years old on January 1, 2022.
